With Tony's first trip to space just a few months away, we thought starting a blog would be a great way to . . .
- share our getting-ready-for-launch experiences with our family and friends,
- keep you informed and up-to-date with any changes in STS-119's flight status (see adjacent links), and
- provide "all y'all"* with a way to keep in touch with each other and share information if you're planning to attend the launch in Florida (currently scheduled for Feb. 12, 2009).

* "all y'all" is plural for "you" ("y'all" is singular) for all y'all who are not from around these parts (Texas) ... For those of you in the Pacific Northwest/west coast, just substitute "you guys."
