With the successful landing of Space Shuttle Endeavour and the STS-126 crew last week, Tony and his fellow STS-119 mission members now don the ulitmate title at NASA -- "Prime Crew." His seven-member crew will be the next to launch into space from Cape Canaveral, Florida, currently scheduled for lift-off at 7:28 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2009.We are so excited to be able to share this extraordinary experience with you! Thank you for your enthusiasm and for joining us in celebrating Tony's accomplishments and his realization of a life-long dream!
STS-119 is the 125th space shuttle flight and the 28th shuttle mission to the International Space Station. Tony and his Discovery crew will carry the S6 truss segment solar array to the orbital outpost to boost the power of this technological marvel.
